Product Marketing Manager

Greenlight helps parents raise financially-smart kids with a debit card for kids that parents manage from their phone. The new way for parents to give money and pay allowances to their children, Greenlight is safer, easier, and more flexible than using cash. Parents can choose the exact stores where their kids can spend and how much money they can spend. With these safeguards and supervision, kids learn to make their own financial decisions. Parents can encourage saving by setting an interest rate--paid by the parent--that is well-above any they would find at a bank. Kids learn about compound interest from seeing their own savings grow meaningfully. To-date, kids have saved over $4M with Greenlight.

What you will do:

We are seeking our first Product Marketing Manager to drive internal understanding of our market and customers and external understanding and awareness of our products. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Customer Service to develop features and experiences that delight customers and develop user-centered communications that clearly articulate value to consumers. Your work will include owning consumer insights, competitive analysis, product positioning, naming, objectives and metrics, developing go-to-market strategy, and executing product launches.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our market and opportunity
  • Use data-driven insights to ensure product-market fit and market leadership
  • Define the messaging and develop materials, including writing copy, that communicate our product and company for all stakeholders, including consumers, partners, employees, and investors
  • Build assets and implement processes that ensure consistency in messaging across all touchpoints
  • Strategize, plan, and execute the go-to-market for new products, features, and major promotions
  • Seek, seize, and ruthlessly prioritize opportunities for huge impact

  • Track record of planning and executing cross-functional projects and interacting with executive leadership
  • 5+ years of product marketing, product management or management consulting experience
  • 2+ years experience working with consumer or digital products and industries
  • MBA preferred

This is a full-time position located in Atlanta, Georgia and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
